    Remind me NEVER to visit Walgett or support it in any way while ever it continues to treat innocent animals in this manner! You are the ones who should be publicly shamed!

    Well, at least they have admitted what we already knew, that many of these outback council pounds shoot cats and dogs.

    Thanks for blogging about this. Too bad the NSW RSPCA is nowhere to be seen, unless of course it is out providing awards for those who do the shooting (ie like in the case of Gloucester pound – as I understand it)

    Where is the NSW RSPCA? Why don’t they stop this barbarism? Need I ask? THe NSW RSPCA stopped caring about animal welfare decades ago.

    This shooting of dogs is absolutely disgusting. What a team of neanderthals in these outback areas. No wonder people are deserting the country to live in the city. I will never bring my family to Walgett. What a bunch of hillbillies they must be to shoot dogs in cold blood.
