You probably wouldn’t think twice about offering a reward for the safe return of your lost pet – $1,000, $2,000, $5,000 or more. Well, I’m here to tell you rewards, lost and found posters – even pet microchips – are all a backup plan.
The only thing that will make sure your pet is truly safe from harm in the pound system, is for that pound system to be a safe place for pets.
