Spot on and so well blogged! My heart bleeds for the toddler’s family, but I have deepest sympathies for the paw-kid and his owner – especially when it’s all family invloved.

This is so beautifully, honestly & eloquently written. What a horrible situation.
    Could have been avoided.
R.I.P to both baby & I would imagine dog.

Thank you for writing this! I could not find the words myself and your blog has hit the nail on the head.
I am so saddened by what has happened here. Grief and guilt… Exactly :(
This family has so much to overcome and I have no doubt in my mind that some of these poor people will carry the scars of this event to their graves and will never forgive themselves for what has happened and the life that was lost…
I myself don’t know how I would cope if my pet was responsible for the death of anyone let alone a family member and one so small. I can’t imagine the despair this little guys Gran is feeling. The nightmare his mother is living. This family must be devastated.
I feel too for the dog…
It’s just the worst thing ever, there are no winners. BSL and dangerous dog restrictions wouldn’t have stopped this from happening. Education is the only way forward.
My sincerest condolences and respect to this family. I pray that you may somehow find a way to cope, love and forgive xxx
