Hey there everyone my name is Lila. I’m a sweet little lady who has recently had a litter of gorgeous puppies (which have all found homes).
I’m looking forward to having time for myself again.I love running around with other dogs and I love lots of cuddles too.
Lila (aged 2 years) adoption advert – Adoptapet
The Cairns RSPCA has a new shelter manager. She has been in the role for less than a month. If you were to walk into the shelter at Cairns today, you would find have four dogs to choose from. But that doesn’t mean a new shelter manager can’t get busy killing;
Meet just some of the dogs that the new manager at cairns rspca has killed. There is more of them. And cats too. What makes this all worse is that these animals were already up and available for adoption.
RSPCA whistleblower
Lila – the mamma dog (above) who successfully raised a litter of her puppies for the RSPCA to sell, is reported to be one of the dogs who have been killed. The others include these three purebred sharpei pups, who were still in the process of recovering from their entropion surgery.
Boofy, Blue and Bella (all aged 1 year, 6 months)
All of the dogs had previously been desexed and made available for adoption, implying that they had passed temperament testing.
It’s hard to verify the details of the killings, without outing the person who is bringing this to my attention, but the new manager at RSPCA Cairns needs to be asked.
Why did these dogs have to die and what are your plans to stop this level of unnecessary killing becoming the standard under your operation of this shelter?
