Jade is another one of the so-called ‘evil pit bull owners’ caught up in Victoria’s BSL laws.
Please read this article and understand that many, many, many people, of all walks of life, own dogs who happen to meet the visual criteria for what Victorian legislation now says a ‘pit bull’ is.
“I’m disappointed that [Monash Council have] put so much time and effort into putting dogs to death. To commit a dog to death because of its physical appearance, it just doesn’t make sense. I don’t want my dog to die for no reason.”
Jade and Kerser’s case is currently in the courts, with a upcoming case in VCAT. In the meantime Kerser is in kennels at the Burwood RSPCA.
