You’re only a baby. Your skin is cracked, your body hurts & the people you’ve been relying on don’t seem to care about you at all.
Then you end up in a shelter.
What happens next? Does your story continue with compassion, care & a second chance to be all that you can be – or does everyone give up on you? Will you live and find love – or will your life be discarded like it is worth nothing?
This is the story of a little girl, hoping for a holiday miracle.
A reputable rescue group is willing to take this poor, itchy baby into their care, pay for treatment & ensure she gets every chance to shine. So far, they’ve been refused – & that’s ok – just as long at the RSPCA South Australia provides her with the same opportunities.
RSPCA SA we beg you, please don’t let her down…
I’m a volunteer at RSPCA SA and I spent time with this girl yesterday and she is happy and playful and likes jumping into your lap for cuddles. The photo shows a dog with mange, it can be nasty but she was brought in like that and its being treat and it will take a couple of months. She should be going to a foster home soon when the vets are happy for her to be out of their care.
