Kind of makes a person ashamed to be australian. My condolences to the owners for their loss, and also condolences for the two beatiful creatures. But there is one fact needs addressing. Everyone has a word of condolences for the owners. If you truely mean that, the someone has to start doing something about this. Demonstrations, voting public servants out of position, challenging and changing laws to name a few things to start doing. Australians are all to famous for saying how sad and sorry they are and yet never seem to challenge the problem. Lead with the left this time people and do something, dont just talk about it. Such irresponsable people are not needed in serious positions. Most of you have forgotten already that this went before a court for a long and lengthy battle and with all the evidence supporting these dogs and their owners, A judge still ordered they be destroyed. Take your propblem al the way to the top. Root out these problems and until you get rid of that judge also, pray you do not end up in front of him and his ignorant ways. Do not forget who could have rightly saved these dogs but ordered them killed for his own extrajudicial reasons.
Time for the apologies and penance for this one. Sorry is just not good enough. And ignoring the wrongfull deed is intollerable. Public servants work for australians, not for their own agenda or glory. Show this council worker he has no more agenda and never had glory. The council, the courts, the council officer (joke) were never working for the community but rather for their own agendas. Time to stop that if your serious or are you all just hypocritical.
Once again, to the owners, deep regrets and condolances. Keep moving with this.

If only the owners had this knowledge before going to battle with the council. The councils so called expert wittness is no wittness at all and it is not just to have an expert witness used that may benefit from the judicial outcome. The ranger is both. This makes an interesting read to the inadequecy and inaptitude of the legal system.

Heartfelt sympathy to the family…Oh the darn ignorance we still live in because of our hate and fear! There is a reason why GOD and DOG share the same letters of the alphabet!!!Oh those poor darlings!

No wonder the world lives in fear, life is in charge of the many foolhardy humans!

How many more loving animals are going to be sacrificed because we live in contaminated fear!!! How many will show us that we need to wake up and change our brutal ways!

May your honourable souls rest in peace darling Bear & Kooda.

It seems to me that governments around the world have all got addle brains thinking harmless dogs are monsters, they are the ones who pass these stupid laws without knowing or caring about the dogs or the family’s that love them. It is so very wrong to do this to animals who have done no wrong but look like or are pit bulls. Pit bulls are just fur babies and nothing more, they are not some nasty alien that needs to be exterminated. These dogs are not pit bulls, just because the have a broad head does not make visious . But still you take there young lives, shame on you
Educate yourselves your are suppose to be intelligent sensible people, try thinking like
    one !
Thats why you are in government, remember its the people that put you there. In your high and mighty position the same ones who can remove you by votes……….This is a serious situation and cannot be allowed to continue in this way!
My thoughts are with the family’s and there loss, bless those harmless dogs.
Fight back people, get shot of judges that don’t listen to sense, laws that are wrongly written, and people that don’t know what they are talking about. Lennox was also murdered today in Belfast northern Ireland he also did nothing wrong, he was taken because his head measurement met the standards written down in the dog wardens book, DNA proved he was not pit bull but was not accepted at the courts!!
If we don’t get our governments to correct this faulty law, we could loose any dog, if it fits there standards , they will change them to suit them selves because they can. Remember we put these people in power……remove them or get them to listen and change the laws…
